CSE Photos

Behind the Lens

CSE Photos is not a traditional portfolio.

It is a record of paying attention.

A collection of moments that almost disappeared.

Photography became the thread connecting travel, museums, music, architecture, running, conversations, and the quiet details of ordinary life.

The purpose is simple:

To notice what others may have walked past.

A life spent paying attention

I am Charlie Solorzano.

Photography has followed me through cities, museums, long walks, early mornings, unfamiliar streets, crowded cafés, quiet rooms, and the spaces between destinations.

I rarely begin with a photograph in mind.

I begin by walking.

I pay attention to light, architecture, gestures, reflections, people waiting, people leaving, and the small visual coincidences that exist for only a moment.

Travel is part of the work, but the photographs are rarely about destinations.

They are about what a place felt like while I was there.

Music is often part of that memory.

So are museums, coffee, running, conversations, and occasionally a beer shared after a long day or a long run.

These interests are not separate from the photography.

Together, they form the way I look at the world.

CSE Photos is where I keep that record.
