Moment
Between the Sky and the Sea
The water reflected the sky so perfectly that, for a moment, it was impossible to tell where one ended and the other began.
Travel often promises movement.
Flights. Roads. Itineraries. New places waiting around the next corner.
But the moments I remember most rarely involve movement at all.
This was one of them.
Floating in a small pool overlooking the sea, the horizon dissolved into its reflection until the water became another sky. There was no urgency, no destination, nothing to photograph except the quiet itself.
Sometimes a photograph isn’t about documenting where you were.
It’s about remembering how still the world felt for a few minutes.
