Moment

Between Us

Some conversations belong only to the people having them.

A father.

A daughter.

A few quiet words in the middle of a city that never stopped moving.

I never heard the conversation.

I only noticed the way she leaned in, certain that whatever she had to say belonged to him first.

Street photography often celebrates decisive moments.

This wasn’t one.

It was an ordinary one.

And that’s exactly why I wanted to keep it.
