Moment
Purple Thursday
Street photography isn't always about decisive moments. Sometimes it's about improbable coincidences.
The first person caught my attention because of the bright purple sweater.
Then another appeared. Then another. And another.
Within a few seconds, an ordinary London intersection had become an accidental study in color. None of these people knew each other. There was no event, no dress code, no obvious explanation. Just a series of strangers connected by one unexpected detail.
These are the moments I love most about street photography.
You can't plan them. You can't recreate them.
All you can do is notice them before they disappear back into the ordinary.
