The Light Between
Not enough light to reveal everything. Just enough to make you look.
Most of the frame disappeared into darkness. Then the escalator carried someone through a narrow opening of light.
For a moment, details emerged — a pattern, a face, a small reflection. Then the darkness took over again.
Sometimes a photograph only needs the brief interval between the two.
