Moment
Turning
A harbor is never still. Even when the water is.
Cities reveal themselves slowly from the water.
Away from the traffic and the crowds, the skyline becomes simpler: a ferris wheel, warehouses, ferries arriving from distant shores, and the quiet rhythm of the Baltic Sea.
Helsinki has always been a city shaped by movement. Ships, seasons and people have crossed these waters for centuries, yet the harbor never seems hurried.
Standing on the opposite shore, I was drawn less to the ferris wheel itself than to what it represented.
A reminder that perspective is always in motion.
Sometimes all it takes is crossing the water to see a city differently.
